GCE Papers was born from the desire of two entrepreneurs with more than 30 years of experience in the paper industry to bring an innovative and nature-friendly product, praising the excellence of the final product. They saw sugarcane bagasse as a way of differentiating themselves, creating a product that does not occupy planted areas and harnesses the surplus of the sugar and alcohol industry, transforming them into a superior product. From this idea comes the EcoQuality brand, the first Brazilian brand of paper made from sugarcane bagasse. In this family are still present Reprograf, Earth Pact and Navigator, resold by GCE Papers. The company's growth goes hand in hand with increasing individual awareness of sustainability, increasingly looking for products that respect nature and have proven origins.
