In the 70's, it became the first Mexican company to offer all types of coffee because, by this time, it had also ventured into the industrialization of soluble coffee. By the last decade of the 20th century, important alliances had already been established with foreign companies in order to expand distribution and marketing activities to other markets.

Also during this time Industrias Marino, S.A. was created. de C.V. with the purpose of strategically restructuring industrial and commercial activities. With a vision of growth and development, Sugar Foods de México was created in 2004, a strategic alliance between the already strongly established Café El Marino and Sugar Foods Corporation.

At present, Café El marino is a leading Mexican company in the industrialization and commercialization of Coffee and recognized for its multiple recognitions and certifications.
